Yakiniku Like PLQ (after watching Look Back)
half-and-half beef/pork
200g
Medium Rice
Yaki Mochi with Kaya Butter
The mochi wasn’t that great, more of a novelty. I initially didn’t know you had to grill the mochi as well and only focused on melting the kaya butter, only to be confronted with a literal rice brick later when I picked up one of the pieces.
My favorite sauce combo would be garlic soy sauce + sea salt sauce + fresh chilli (chilli padi). I wasn’t a fan of the sweeter alternatives like the Spicy Miso, Yakiniku BBQ or Garlic Chilli.
