There was an older gentleman after me who ordered bass fish and pronounced it “bus” so I googled it and google said said “base” (both British and American) but then the venerable Julien Miquel actually debunked it (which I’ve never seen before) by directly referencing Google’s pronunciation in his video and saying it was wrong, that it was “bus”. All the comments in the video were relieved that they weren’t pronouncing it wrong after all, so I guess a sizeable amount of people pronounce it that way.

Idk what kind of vanilla ice cream they used but it took forever to melt even when I poured the espresso on it. So good though (my first time trying affogato), the bitterness of the espresso mixed with the creaminess of the ice cream.
