I didn’t know samyang made soup-based instant noodles. Here is one more fun fact: they were the first to make instant noodles in Korea. Another fun fact: there is another company called samyang that manufactures camera lenses, but they’re not related.

Dinner Yokohama Ramen @ Grantral Mall Tonkotsu & Shoyu Ramen $11.90 + $1 bamboo shoots

I was SO disappointed to find they didn’t have pure shoyu ramen, rather a mix of tonkotsu and shoyu ramen. It looks like Singaporeans cannot accept shoyu ramen… tonkotsu is the norm here.

I pigged out on all the items I wanted to eat but unfortunately had to take the tomato soup base because of my sore throat which made the eating experience AWFUL. Later I tried my colleague’s mala soup base and it was leagues better than the tomato.
