I Miss InterfaceLIFT So Much
interfacelift.com was a wallpaper site with tons of high quality photos, contributed by photographers around the world (the camera settings were always mentioned, which is how you know they were serious about it).
Unfortunately, it has also been permanently down since 2022.
It was, bar none, the best wallpaper website in the world. What made it stand out was the incredibly high signal to noise ratio. Every photo on the front page was an image of a REAL LIFE place that looked gorgeous, no low-effort anime or video game or skimpy women wallpapers. No other wallpaper site on the internet comes close to the sheer concentration of gems that InterfaceLIFT had.
I saved a bunch of photos from it back in 2017. I didn't realize at that time that those would be the only photos I would ever be able to get from the website, because now it's gone for good. I truly miss it.
Here are all the photos I saved, but the compressed versions (otherwise the full set of 38 images would be 150 MB, making for a very heavy page size). Don't you think they are very good photos?
